Samantha was purchased from Redacres Shetland Stud in February 2005. She had already had a successful show career winning and placing at Royals and Stud Shows in both her Shetland and Miniature Pony classes.

Samantha has a beautiful temperament and is very easy to handle and prepare. She is now retired from the show ring and will be bred to Kanimbla Blackwatch this season.

Jenssel Park Ilona is the first under 8.2hh Shetland that we have bred, and was also our first foal by Laurelwood Viking. She is a sweet little mare with her sire's lovely temperament. Ilona has been lightly shown but has achieved some great results. She will again be a member of our show team this season and will attend the majors shows in NSW/Vic commencing with the National APSB Stud Show in December. Ilona will be bred to our young sire Butterfield Krackerjack this season.

Phoebe is a very solid mare with a very friendly nature (always in your pocket!). She is a lovely soft chestnut colour with heavy ticking throughout her coat. Phoebe is the most relaxed and laid back pony we have ever bred and is such a sweetheart to have around.

Phoebe was only shown as a yearling had a successful start to her show career with 3 firsts at her first three shows, including a win at the Shetland Supershow under a UK judge. She is currently in foal to Kanimbla Blackwatch and will rejoin our show team for her broodmare classes.

Klementine came to us on New Year's Eve, 2005 from Lambrae Shetland Stud in SA. She is a daughter of the lovely old stallion, Blue Meadow Fury (dec) and a half sister to the very successful stallion, Laurelwood Magnum.  

Klementine enjoyed show ring success as a young mare, culminating in being awarded SA Reserve Champion Miniature Pony of the 1990-1991 Show Season. Among her progeny is Laurelwood Omega, an APSB/AMPS piebald gelding who has won at the highest levels in hand and in harness. Klementine is also the grand-dam of Laurelwood Ugenie (above). Sadly Klementine is no longer able to produce a foal and has been retired from breeding.

Imogen was the first mare purchased for our under 8.2hh breeding program. She is an excellent Shetland type with good bone and masses of mane and feather. In 2004, Imogen produced our first under 8.2hh foal, a black filly by Laurelwood Viking.

Imogen is currently in foal to Kanimbla Blackwatch. This will be her last foal and she will be retired from breeding when it is weaned.

Darcy is one of two mares purchased from Valkeith Stud in April 2006. She is a heavy mare with good bone and a very kind temperament. She is a half sister to the lovely stallion Shanusti Cavalier, winner of the Barastoc AMPS Pony of the Year in 2002.

Darcy produced a lovely chestnut skewbald filly in 1995 for Valkeith Stud and had not been bred since then. She is currently in foal to Kanimbla Blackwatch.

Victoria was also purchased form Valkeith Stud in April 2006. She is the smallest of our mares measuring a tiny 78.6cm but she retains lovely Shetland qualities. Victoria is a very friendly mare and is the first one to greet you at the gate. She will run with Kanimbla Blackwatch for a 2008 foal.
