Yeo Lodge Kendal was purchased as a weanling from the Lerwick Shetland Auction and has been an important member of our show team ever since. He has been successful in hand, under saddle and in harness.

While an entire, Kennie produced several foals for our stud, all very solid with lovely temperaments. His oldest progeny is Jenssel Park Gryffin, a gelding who has been shown only lightly but with success, including winning Best Yearling Shetland at the National Stud Pony Show 2002.

Gelded in May 2004, Kennie is proving to be a wonderful child's pony being ridden by children from 4yrs and upwards. Kennie also tried his hand at Mini Trotting but is more interested in the contents of his feed bin than setting speed records. Kennie has successfully returned to the show ring as a gelding and enjoys his days out in public, being fussed over and babysitting the youngsters.

• The Rock Show 2003 - Champion Harness Stallion
