In
2004 we were given the opportunity to purchase Woranora Caitlin,
fulfilling a dream of mine to have a lovely Welsh A mare to
breed from and show. I have long admired the lovely Woranora
ponies and Caitlin has quickly become a much loved favourite. With her delicate little head and eye-catching
markings,
Caity turns heads wherever we go and has gained many
admirers. Caitlin
came to us with her first foal at foot, a chestnut part-bred
filly, and also in foal to an Arabian Pony stallion. In December
2004, Caitlin foaled a lovely leggy buckskin colt, Jenssel Park Chakotay - winner of the Foal class at the Victorian APSB Stud
Show in January 2005 (below right). Both foals have now been
sold to show homes.
Caitlin
was leased back to her breeder, Mrs Helen Dohan from Woranora
Stud, for the 2005-2006 stud season. She had a buckskin foal by Woranora Tempest. Caity returned home to us in foal to the lovely Woranora Mosaic and foaled a gorgeous bay colt in October 2007.
